Young Jeezy Filed for Divorce from Jeannie Mai After Two Years of Marriage

According to multiple news sources, rapper Young Jeezy has filed for divorce from Jeannie Mai. Jeannie is a makeup artist, fashion expert, and former television co-host of The Real. The couple were married for two years and have one daughter together.

According to Today, the divorce filing stated, "The couple has been "living in a bona fide state of separation" and that their marriage is "irretrievably broken" with "no hope for reconciliation." Jeezy is seeking to share joint legal custody of their daughter Monaco, whom the couple welcomed in January 2022. The couple has a prenuptial agreement in place, according to the filing."

About a week before the divorce filing, Jeannie shared a sweet video of her and their daughter Monaco celebrating Jeezy for making the New York Times Bestseller list for his memoir Adversity for Sale. The couple regularly shared special moments on social media, especially their recent trip to her mother’s homeland in Vietnam. This is Jeezy's first marriage and Jeannie's second.
