Since Usher is in high demand-he gives his fans the show of a lifetime, the Prince of R&B has reportedly extended his Las Vegas residency for the second time until December 2023. The R&B star is also reportedly planning a world tour next year and will headline the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show!
His Vegas shows are packed from wall to wall with fans who sing every word and dance to every song, including various celebrities! During a July show we attended, Usher acknowledged that Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, Quavo, J. Prince, L.A. Reid, DJ Mustard, Kash Doll, and Ron Laffitte, were in the audience. His fellow celebrities and fans continuously post on social media when they've had the "Usher experience," and attended his live show.
Still, a ladies' man, Usher, drives his female fans crazy and their significant others, lol!" His lyrics from "U Don't Have to Call" still ring true ("Don't leave your girl around me True playa fo' real"); as we all remember when actress Keke Palmer received online backlash from her son's father, Darius Jackson, after Usher serenaded her during a show and it went viral! The "Confessions” singer recently acknowledged Dwyane Wade on his Instagram post about his recent performance in Paris when he sang to his wife, Gabrielle Union, "Look, I don't want no smoke...Night one in Paris"…
It's rumored that Usher will bring his pole dancing segment from his shows to the LVIII Super Bowl. His Vegas shows incorporate roller skaters, pole dancers, and hip-hop dance routines. According to Page Six, “Usher plans on having… pole dancers — dressed in a tasteful manner, of course as well as dancers on roller skates,” a source said of the halftime show preparations, “He is definitely keeping in mind that his younger fans will be watching.”
If you've ever been to an Usher show, you know the halftime show should be a good time! To follow this story and other news, click the link to become a Volume 82 site member.
