Torey Lanez Was Found Guilty of Shooting Megan Thee Stallion in Los Angeles Today

A Los Angeles court found Torey Lanez guilty today of shooting Megan The Stallion in 2020 in Hollywood Hills, CA. He was convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded and unregistered gun in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

His father was angry about the verdict, calling it a miscarriage of justice! Torey's father called out the entire Roc Nation, including Jay-Z and Desiree Perez, outside the courthouse.

Megan has faced tremendous backlash over this situation. Several celebrities accused her of lying about the shooting, saying they didn't believe Torey was guilty. However, she received support from some notable individuals, such as Congresswoman Maxine Waters, who publicly supported Meg by signing a letter of support created by the Southern Black Girls & Women's Consortium.

Torey faces up to twenty years in prison; he will be sentenced in January 2023.
