Team USA's Sahara Williams & NCAA Coaches Molly Goodenbour & Camille Williams From Same High School

Sahara Williams is a promising high school athlete and a recent gold medalist for Team USA’s 3-on-3

U-18 Title. Sunday’s victory secured Team USA’s fourth consecutive win for this title. Williams and her teammates Kamorea "KK" Arnold, Mikaylah Williams, and Sarah Strong all played exceptionally well in their final game in Hungary.

Sahara is a basketball standout in her hometown of Waterloo, Iowa, at West High School, where former WNBA player and current head coach for the University of San Francisco Molly Goodenbauer also attended. Former NCAA basketball player, former head coach of ART University, and current Assistant Coach at Washington State University Camille Williams, was also a notable player at Waterloo West High.

Sahara has been a competitive player in Iowa, helping to lead her team to the state tournaments. The former West High forward has reportedly committed to the University of Oklahoma for basketball following her senior year.

This team will likely see each other during their college careers. KK Arnold has committed to the University of Connecticut. Sarah Strong will graduate high school after her teammates in 2024 but is ranked nationally as one of the top five high school basketball recruits. Mikaylah Williams has reportedly committed to LSU for basketball after graduation.

Good luck to every one of you!
