During an interview with Atlanta's The Beat-96.1 radio station, T.I. announced his exit from live performances. The rap veteran told the station, "I appreciate y'all for offering me my last working gig because I do not need the money anymore, and I will not be performing," he said. "I don't want to do it anymore."

According to the interview, his last performance will be at The Beat 96.1's Jingle Ball concert in December. The Atlanta rapper explained, "I don't want people to pay me to hop around and sweat for their entertainment anymore."

T.I. has won 16 Grammy Awards and released 11 studio albums. The southern rap star has sold 14 million albums worldwide. The "Rubber Band Man" and his wife, Tameka Harris, formerly of the R&B group Xscape, shared their family life on the reality show T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle following the entertainer's 12-month prison stint. The show aired six seasons before its spinoff, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.

The ATL rapper has several acting credits and reportedly has an estimated net worth of $30 million.
