According to Fox4 KC, 24-year-old blogger Alysha Burney died from an asthma attack in her sleep during her vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for her birthday. She died one day shy of her 25th birthday.

Alysha amassed millions of followers on social media with her creative and funny content. Her family confirmed that she also owned a production company, "ABurneyProductions," which had produced its first film and had more projects in the works, according to Fox4 KC. Her brother Charles Burney said she graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Production and was working to earn a Master's degree.

As reported by Fox4 KC, the content creator's brother remembers her as a goal-oriented person who gave back. Charles stated, "She was not selfish with her knowledge and was a very open book about her journey. She will always be dearly loved, and her legacy will live on forever."

However, the social media star's family is concerned with misinformation about her death; her brother wants the public to know his sister did not engage in drugs or reckless activities. Charles stated in a comment obtained by Fox 4 KC, "She does not do drugs. She was a self-loving and happy individual who cherished her life and was looking forward to the upcoming year's plans. She was in Mexico to celebrate her birthday. She was a very classy young woman," he said. He explained, "There's a spread of misinformation online, stating different things based on speculation. These sources lack credibility and should not be believed. My sister did not engage in environments that would lead to such situations," Charles added.

Alysha's brother also talked about her future career goals: "Her lifelong goal was to be a writer and a director. Another goal she had was to return to Kansas City, open a production studio, and help other young creatives from Kansas City get to where she was," Charles said.

The viral blogger had the chance to audition for the Wild' N Out show and capitalize on many different opportunities after she settled in Los Angeles.

Alysha's content can also be viewed on her YouTube channel.

May she rest in peace.
