A 32-year-old Philadelphia man, Justin Mohn, was arrested after he beheaded his father, Michael F. Mohn, via a YouTube broadcast. Justin views himself as a militia leader and allegedly decapitated his father because he considered him a traitor for working as a federal employee. According to 6abc, Justin has been charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse, among other charges, according to police.

The victim's wife reportedly found his headless body after returning home. "When officers arrived, they found the victim's body in the first-floor bathroom and his head inside a plastic bag in a kitchen pot placed in a first-floor bedroom, according to a police affidavit." Officers said, "They also found bloody rubber gloves in a bedroom on the second floor, as well as a machete and a large kitchen knife in the bathtub."

Mohn made the following statements to YouTube viewers regarding his father: "He is now in hell for eternity as a traitor to his country." He continued, "All federal employees are to be killed on site." All FBI, IRS, and other federal law enforcement offices, as well as federal court houses, are to be sieged around the country." He justified his actions on video for nearly 15 minutes, calmly introducing himself as Commander of America's Network of Militias, also known as Moan Militia. Mohn was found with a firearm in his possession. He was arrested without incident at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to 6abc.
