Megan Thee Stallion donated generators to Houston's senior citizens, who have gone without power since Hurricane Beryl struck earlier in July.

The rapper, legally known as Megan Pete, announced that she partnered with the Bread of Life organization to help elders without electricity since the July 8th storm. Pete said it's "painful" for her to watch elderly people lack basic needs.

According to the National Hurricane Center, on July 8th, Beryl knocked out power in 3 million homes and businesses and killed at least three people. Heat indexes reached as high as 105 degrees on some days following the storm, making it impossible for citizens who lost power to cool off their homes.

This isn't the first time the starlet has shown up for her fans and fellow citizens. In 2022, she launched a website for mental health awareness and assistance. The "Hot Girl Summer" rapper also launched the Pete and Thomas Foundation in 2022 to uplift and assist underserved communities, including senior citizens, according to WTVY.

Megan is currently performing on the 'Hot Girl Summer' tour.
