Hip Hop Legend and Radio Personality DJ Kay Slay Dies After Battling Covid-19 for Months

DJ Kay Slay has died after being hospitalized with Covid-19 for several months. He was 55 years old.

The legendary hip-hop DJ, also known as 'The Drama King,' was well-known in hip-hop and radio. He worked as a personality for New York City's Hot 97 radio station for many years, hosting the show "The Drama Hour." Kay Slay, whose real name is Keith Grayson, was also known for his mixtapes, especially "The Streetsweeper" series.

The former graffiti artist had relationships with several entertainers and socialites; he even helped establish the careers of several music artists and was known for being down-to-earth and approachable.

Our condolences go out to his family. May he rest in peace.
