Former Drug Kingpin 'Big Meech' from the BMF Show Is Reportedly Home from Federal Prison.
Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory [one of the real-life characters from 50 Cent's BMF Series] has reportedly been released from federal prison to a Miami halfway house after serving nearly two decades behind bars.
The former drug kingpin and his older brother, Terry Flenory, started the crime family BMF (Black Mafia Family), which expanded into a national criminal enterprise.
BMF reportedly earned approximately $270 million in cocaine sales before the empire was broken up in 2005—a bust that involved roughly 100 co-conspirators who were brought down with the Flenory brothers. The organization was reportedly based in Detroit, Atlanta, and Miami, linking its members to several entertainers and socialites.
The BMF series debuted on the STARZ network in 2021. It stars Demetrius' son, Demetrius Flenory Jr., as Big Meech during his early life and tells the story of how poverty led him and his family to a criminal enterprise.
