Donald Trump Wants Drug Dealers to Get the Death Penalty If He's Re-Elected as President in 2024

If re-elected in 2024, Donald Trump wants drug dealers and human traffickers to receive the death penalty.

During a recent press conference, Trump stated, “I will ask Congress for a legislation ensuring that drug dealers and human traffickers — these are terrible, terrible, horrible people — who are responsible for death, carnage and crime all over our country; every drug dealer during his or her life, on average, will kill 500 people with the drugs they sell.”

Although illegal drug distribution is catastrophic, some Americans feel that enforcing the death penalty for drug dealers would further contribute to the unfair mass incarceration of minorities. We think child molesters, sexual predators, unethical court officials, and officers of the law who harm or kill unarmed people, especially in racially charged situations, can be added to this list of criminals who would be eligible to receive the death penalty.
