Diddy's Former Bodyguard, Makeup Artist, and More Talk About Experiences with the Mogul in Upcoming Documentary
Sean Diddy Combs' former bodyguard, makeup artist, producer, intern, and others speak about their alleged experiences while working for the music mogul in the upcoming Peacock documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.Gene Deal, who guarded the star for part of his career is among several others who speak on what they witnessed while working with Combs. The show airs on January 14th.
Combs is currently housed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on several charges, including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution, after being arrested in September 2024. The former music executive has been unsuccessful in being released on bond.
His arrest followed a lawsuit he settled with his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura-Fine, for an undisclosed amount, as well as a video CNN aired of Diddy physically assaulting Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.
Combs faces dozens of lawsuits, where accusers allege sexual or physical violence. The former Bad Boy Records founder is also facing federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
According to ABC News, "Prosecutors said federal authorities have seized 100 electronic devices from Combs and are still working to extract data from all of them. Authorities seized 51 devices from Combs' Los Angeles mansion during a raid last March. They seized 36 devices that same day from his Miami estate, and nine devices were taken from Combs himself during a search while he was at a private airport in Florida."
Rolling Stone stated that 18 brands confirmed their separation from the entertainment mogul as of December 2024. This included Diddy selling his shares for Revolt, a media company he founded; Combs also stepped down as chairman of the company. His partnership with Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School also abruptly ended, amid his legal troubles.
Hulu canceled the father of seven's reality show that was set to be based on the life of the mogul and his children after multiple lawsuits started being filed.
His trial is set to begin on May 5.
