Las Vegas cousins who lured a man to his death with the promise of a threesome were sentenced to 10-25 years for robbery and murder last week.

Arionna Taylor, 22, and Erika Covington, 21, killed Bryan Altamirano-Solano, 25, on May 17, 2023, and took his belongings. A housekeeper at Caesar's Palace found the Nicaragua native deceased in his room a day after his murder.

Las Vegas authorities recovered security footage showing the trio walking through the hotel lobby minutes before his death—they discovered footage of Arionna and Erika running away from Bryan's room and leaving the crime scene in a stolen vehicle. The police also found explicit videos on Altamirano-Solano's phone showing sex acts of the cousins.

The Vegas police were able to match Taylor and Covington's identities from their social media profiles, which showed them in clothes they were wearing on the day of Bryan's murder and carrying the same bag the victim had during the surveillance footage of all three walking through the hotel lobby.

According to Daily Mail, "When investigators approached the women about the crime, Covington initially said that they met Altamirano-Solano at the valet but that they didn't communicate because of the language barrier. Taylor claimed that she experienced memory loss from a car accident and couldn't recall what happened the night of Altamirano-Solano's death." Yet, officers discovered a bullet casing in the hotel room that matched the murder weapon, which belonged to Taylor.

A plea deal was reached for second-degree murder-giving the two a maximum term of 25 years. Covington apologized to Altamirano-Solano's family, stating, "I would like to send my condolences to Brian's family. I deeply, genuinely apologize for the grief and the pain that's been brought to you guys' family."

The 25-year-old was reportedly a Nicaraguan native who traveled to the United States seeking refuge before the brutal killing that ended his life.

Daily Mail confirmed that the victim's father, Victor Altamirano, was present in court and asked for justice to be served in his son's gruesome death—he stated, "It wasn't enough just taking his belongings, they had to kill him." Altamirano-Solano's mother, Nelly Altamirano, watched the trial online from outside the country. She provided a statement to the courts, "The pain that I felt was so deep." She continued, "I felt like I just lost my life. I had so many questions. Why? Why my son?"
