Chicago Teen Allegedly Ordered by Mother to Kill Man in Restaurant Who Punched Her During a Dispute

Carlishia Hood/Chicago

According to multiple sources, a man punched 35-year-old Carlishia Hood in the head numerous times after threatening her at Maxwell Street Express restaurant in Chicago. Carlishia then ordered her 14-year-old son to come into the restaurant and shoot Jeremy Brown. Hood and her son allegedly followed the victim into the parking lot, instructing the teen to shoot Jeremy until he was dead.

Brown later died from two gunshot wounds, and his girlfriend who was present at the restaurant remained unharmed. The mother and son are in custody. Hood was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The firearm reportedly belonged to her, and she had no prior charges. Her social media lists her as a tax professional and notary. According to Chicago Sun-Times, the 14-year-old was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and illegally possessing a firearm. Despite his charges, prosecutors have charged him as a minor. (Viewer discretion is advised for the video below)
